Windows XP or Windows XP 64 bit?

What is the difference?

My dad has Windows XP and my friend has Windows XP 64 bit? Which should i use?

windows xp 64 bit is obviously better, but according to ur budget, u should be able to decide wuts best for ur self.

Plus, let's not forget the harsh you'll need to install 64-bit drivers and programs...since 32-bit won't work

well, my other friend said that the 64bit one doesnt have as much updates as XP, and what not

edit: im getting the AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 1GHz FSB Socket939 Dual Core Processor, if that means anything
