Does Professional come with Excel, Powerpoint, and Word?

No, that will just be the operating system.

To get those programs you will need to buy one of the Microsoft Office programs. The latest I think is Microsoft Office 2003. It contains all those plus others.

I thought Pro came with office? I thought thats why it was so sweet. I could be wrong. In fact, I probaly am.

I think your meaning Microsoft Office Professional which does contain 2 extra programs than the standard office contains, Microsoft Publisher, and Microsoft Access.

yea but usually you have to pay extra for them to include Microsoft Office in the purchase. .. they just give you the basic Word not Microsoft Word.

And this is why you get it from me (LEGALLY) I have coorporate edition, so therefore, I win. Anyways, Microsoft (Bill Gates in other words) is a crook. 300 for XP Pro, and then 500 for Office Pro. EEK!!
