Default Windows XP Installation Freezing

Every time i try to install windows XP, it freezes up when it's loading up the files. Could it be freezing because of the CPU's temp? I have an Intel Celeron 2.93 GHZ with stock heatsink and the temperature is about 67 which is REALLY high i know. So could this be the reason Windows XP installation keeps locking up?
