yeha, i got windows xp home upgrade for my old comp and it sux: i forgot to get the full version so all i have is the upgrade. ah well.

ahh hers a tip with your xp upgrade cd...if u have a full version of 2000, 98 or even 95 when you got to install it will say please insert on of the following xp full 2000 full...blah blah blah...so what u do it u put that it then it will tell u to click f1 or enter or something like that

then as soon as it goes to the next screen swich it with the xp cd and it will install xp full...I did it over 20 times

no ...its just a short cut...other way u have to install 98 then upgrade....cut your tiem down by a half hr
