Default Windows xp can not see all files

I have 2 os (windows me and windows xp) installed on my computer (fat32 file system for both os). Windows xp can not see all files. What do I do?

FAT is limited to the size it can work with. Try installing NTFS. The maximum size for FAT is 4GB.

You are way off there! The maximum for Fat32 is far more then that! I ran 98 seeing a single primary on a 259gb drive with the help of the WD driver tool DrFat32 some years back.

Dodge1970 - FAT is limited to the size it can see - it was simple the DrFAT32 program that was enabling you to see more space.

t1587 - are there particular types of file that windows xp can't see?
