windows XP

hi,
I read Computer Freaks thread on how to re-format windows. I am running Windows XP. i insert the disk and everything goes well until it says your PC may reboot. When my PC restarted it did the memory test and then said primary master slave-None. And secondary master slave then sais my hardrive, Samsung.
But then it just stopped there! Nothing happened
What should I do?

You should change the cable to your harddrive inside the computer so that your harddrive is on the primary ide port. Though usually windows will boot from a secondary master.

Yes, but i had no problems with this before reformatting my harddrive, only afterwards....

make sure in the bios, it is trying to boot that hard drive
