windows won't diplay

hello i am running windows xp and one day i reset my computer and when windows loaded nothing appeared on my monitor. when i boot in safe mode it works which leads me to believe it is a driver problem.
Any help is appreciated, Thanks in advance

if you still have the XP disk stick it in the cd rom and boot from it. repair the installation. if you need help print the directions they should be on the microsoft website

thanks but i figured it out. Turns out my video card was sending the signal through the hd out port.
