Default Windows Vista Showing Up on boot menu...

Well, i have recently installed Windows Vista on a seperate harddrive to dual boot with Windows XP, i currently have XP installed, and i broke the other harddrive that had vista on it, now, my problem is, that the boot menu still shows "Microsoft Windows Vista", how do i get rid of option from the boot menu? Oh, and, it doesnt show up in boot.ini(because it was on another harddrive??)

Vista doesnt use boot.ini. it uses a BCD [Boot configuration Data] file, which is edited with BCDedit. Linked some article that should help you out.
