Windows Vista permissions

I really like vista, I thinks its a great OS but the one thing that really annoys me is having to keep on pressing 'continue' or something like that about 4 times before I can copy a file. It always goes on about needing administrative permissions and has that little security center icon next to almost everything. I know you can give yourself permission to access specific files (right click, properties etc) but is there a way to turn it off completely because I know what might corrupt something on my pc and don't need vista to tell me every second. Thanks for any advice.

Not sure about that, but I know how to turn the 'super' administrator acount on, if that would be any more help?

Cool I had UAC disabled and that stupid red thing in the taskbar kept showing up so its gone now, even though I don't use the taskbar (ObjectDock).
