Have you been to Creative's site? I have a Live! sound card and I downloaded the drivers from there, now it works! Is Vista insanely glitchy for you, I know it is for me ?

Don't use the auto detect for your sound drivers because the XP driver is not branded for Vista and it won't find them, you need to use "Show other options" and manually direct Vista to the driver.

I would go with the manual OR, use the Windows update. That's how got my sound to workwith the Soundblaster.
