Default Windows Vista Beta

Alright, Im ptreey interested in window vista, so i wanted to try out the beta 1 version. But it says that its targeted for developers or it proffesionals. Does this mean that i should hold off from downloading it? Will it be too difficult for me to operate?

Plus, does nayone know if i would have to uninstall my xp to run it, or if it would be compatible with any programs designed for xp?

It's probably too early to be finalised, you may find the finished version to be completely different.

I'm not getting overexcited anyway about this whole Vista thing. Just looks like XP with a new interface and a few new features if you ask me.

Well if its 64-bit then I would be pretty excited about it. 64-bit support is more than a "few new features" in my opinion.

XP x64 was made by Microsoft so that developers can get a feel for the x64 system.

Vista will be much, much, better.
