windows updates

my friend just installed her windows xp, she was originally using ME,

she is still on dial up 56k therefore she cannot download the windows updates.

is there a way i can download the updates and burn them to cd so that i can bring them over to her house and install them?

im on wondows xp pro

if you go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.aspx?displaylang=en you should be able to search for the updates and save them to your computer.

Yeah...I do the same thing to my mom''s computer. I mail her a CD with all the updates for the month. There is an option to download a correction/ipdate. If you search for the update required, there is an option for administrators to download for multiple computer updates. It's a little tough to find sometimes, but keep on looking.

Plus it's a good way to stay on mom's good side since I only see her once a year.
