Default Windows Update actually useful?

I've been wondering this for quite some time, I mean do you actually see any improvments after downloading the updates or are they kind of pointless?

Why? Updates are annoying and don't help in alot of situations.

Default eh

i figure theres no point in not updating, cuz (well depending on what sort of connection you have), it doesn't take long, and they have fixed some bugs that were annoying. ppl can not recognize ALL of the bugs it fixes but the updates do fix them.

Yeah cuz everytime I do, and this can even be after like a huge update with like tons of security patches, I don't ever see a difference.
