You would be better doing the latter mate, most people who seem to have problems with vista is after the upgrade version so you would be better ghosting your current OS and storing it on a disc or partition/another hd then do the full install , If you don't like it, just ghost back to your xp home no harm done, Ive done it several times, there has been some posts on CF lately about people who did the upgrade but then had problems reinstalling xp when they wanted to go back to it, something to do with boot up , I cant quite remember now what it exactly was. anyway the upgrade version is also on the full version DVD.
