Talking Windows Start-Up Messages

Hello,
I was wondering if there is anyway to make messages to show once I log in on Windows XP PRO. Thanx

As in like a message box that pops up directly after Windows loads? Why would you want to do that?

well if you want to turn off or on ur startup applicatoins.. do as follows

click START
hit RUN
type in "msconfig" without the quotations.. and thats the startup menu
jsut becafeful on what you're activating and disabling... if youdont know what ur doing.. i dont suggest fooling around with it..

Here's an easier way:

Start
Run
type secpol.msc
go to local policies~>security options
look for interactive logon: message text...
double click and u should be able to type ur message
