Hi, ive connected a newly built pc to my home network however im not able to share printers. This isn't because it doesn't have permissions it because of the spooler service. I check the service is enabled from services, yes it is. I start up (ie notepad), click print, it says i must first install a printer, would i like to do it now. I click yes, then it says operation could not be completed and i can see in the background that the spooler service stops, i then click start the renable the service, but i get the same problem again and again. I CANT PRINT! ive run sfc /scannow, that has had no effect. Does anybody know the problem. This pc is running windows xp SP1.
