Default windows missing files

Please can you tell me if my computer is telling me you have a missing file can you retrieve it? I has been trying to use a programme called Individually yours and it keeps on saying windows system file 32 is missing so I access it. Is there away around this problem. Would I need to reinstall windows XP to correct the problem I would very much appreciate an answer to this question.

Default Re: windows missing files

Insert your windows xp disc into the CD drive. Then goto the run command (hold down windows key+R). Then type sfc /scannow and press enter. That will run the system file checker, and replace any missing or corrupt files from the CD.
