Question Windows logon screen saver

becasue of network settings, i am unable to select a screen saver, it is set to default windows xp logon screen saver. I found the file (logon.scr in the win32 folder) and attempted to remove the file and replace with another screen saver with that file name changed to image the default screen saver. When i delete the file, it comes back almost immetiately, and wont recognize the new file as the default. Anyone got any ideas?

Default Re: Windows logon screen saver

It sounds like your computer is a member of a domain and your administrators have the screen saver setting set in Group Policy. You can't change this without being a Domain Admin and editing the GPO.
