Default Windows installs- two hdd's

I have two hard drives in my computer. I know that there is a way that windows will ask you on startup which OS to boot to. Is it possible to have windows installed on each hard drive and when I start the computer, have it ask me which one to boot to?
thanks.

Yes. if you install windows on both it should ask which one you want to boot from. you can even have two OS's on one HDD. just partion the HDD and install one on each.

well I have an extra hard drive... first I put linux on it then decided I didn't like linux so I thought I just put another windows one on there... plus that way I have one I can keep my precious files on and another I can screw up and corrupt. lol
