My friend has a movies folder, whenever he opens the folder windows explorer crashes. Giving the send or don't send error message.
The folder size is 12.0 Gb, i thought it may be a cap on the hardrive.

i had this exact problem with friends season 3 folder 1 of the files was corrupt cant member what i did to fix it 1 mo let me rack my brains and google a bit .................

right i think the problem is with previews of .avi files when the file is corrupt

you can turn them off by doing.

1. goto start then run.
2. type cmd and hit enter
3. to remove media previews type
4. regsvr32 /u shmedia.dll

if that works try and play all of the videos in that folder and c which 1 is corrupt ... u will have to delete it

if that doesnt work.

to put media previews bak on

1. goto start then run.
2. type cmd then hit enter.
3. to re add media previews type.
4. regsvr32 shmedia.dll
