Default Windows Explorer

This is probably simple, but I can not figure it out. When opening a couple different windows (such as the "move file") it will always appear half off screen and pretty small. I have to always drag it to the middle and resize. Now this isn't a regular folder or what not, just a window. I know one or two other ones do it, but can not remember which ones. So when I highlight a folder and click to move the file/folder the new window appears but all crazy. I just want it to open larger or full screen and centered. Help me out please

After you resize or maximize a window it should open the way you had it last set. Have you resized it then closed out and re opened the window? It should open just like you had it last. If not report back cause thats kind of odd.

No I do not have two monitors. This is my laptop. I have went into the folder options and checked the box to remember the window sizes and settings. I have resized it, but the only way to resize this box is manually by dragging it from the corner. It does not have a minimize window. But it has been doing this for quite some time.
