Windows CD Key

Never mind. I found the CD key. The program I used was right.

I used to have Vista installed, but had to format my drive. I am now going to upgrade windows xp to vista again, but need the cd key for windows xp when I reinstall it. I used a program called Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder. It showed me a CD key, but I just want to make sure that it's the right one. Is there some other way that I can see what the CD key is? Also, is there a limit on the number of activations you can do with one key? Thanks!

that same program worked fine for me, so I'd say it's the real cd key. And yes there is a limit to how many times u can activate with 1 key. But then when it says that u have used all ur activations u can just call microsoft (it should provide u with a number) and then u get a new code.

Why dont ya just do a clean install of vista and use that key?

My other hard drive is very small and it has Linux on it.
