Default Windows Audio Service

I have a computer that is running Windows XP sp1 and the windows audio service dosen't start on startup. I have the service set to automatic but I still have to go start it manually every time I restart the computer.

Is there a way that I can add a service to the startup like a program? Or maybe I could make a registry entry?

Try reinstalling your audio drivers and see what that does.

If you haven't, I would also run a anti-virus scan.
