Default Windows 98 Laptop incompatibilities

Well after overcoming the problem of not having an OS on my laptop, I finally was able to install Windows 98 on the laptop hard drive, but one problem has occurred: Windows 98 seems to only recognize PS/2 Keyboards and mice, because the laptop keyboard and mouse pad are completely unusable, and a message comes up in Win98 stating that no mouse is connected.
Is there a way to identify what drivers I would need for them, so I can install them to 98?

We're flying blind here. You need to post the name brand and the model. With out that we have no clue where to start on your issues. And it would be best to keep all this in one thread. Makes it easier to keep up with. One for the laptop and one for the PC.
