hmm I think im going to make a 9 gb partition on my external 250 gigabyte hd and install windows 98 to it so that if the operating system fails on the internal hardrive on my ibm comp i might be able to fix because ill have another os to boot from, The Os I have on my lt is xp lol dont think that I dont know about xp lol XD, Do you guys think that this is a good idea?

I once had knoppix installed to the hardrive in my laptop not the external but i had no idea how to boot it once it was installed i wanted to try and install knoppix to my external drive but knoppix didnt see my external drive ...
