Venice is overclocks way better and has a better memory controller

The Winchester isn't bad, but the Venice is more up to date. Also, the Venice core has the SSE3 extension. It would be better to get the Venice core if you have the money, but if you're out of options and need a processor, the Winchester is cheap and it won't let you down.

lol. actually on newegg, for the athlon64 3200+, teh winchester is more expensive than the venice.

Winchester is old...Venice comes with far more updates, including a new memory controller which allows them to be overclocked much better. The AMD 3000+ can be overclocked to 3GHZ. My venice can go higher...Just havent got there yet

geez! up to 3Ghz?!?! arent they listed as 2.0Ghz? dang! thats a big increase. so a 3200+ can be oc'd that high too, rit? thats cool.
