I have a Windows XP computer downstairs w/ a d-link di-604 router hooked up to it. I am looking thinking about getting an apple possibly an iMac G4 or G5. Will it work for me to run an ethernet cable from my iMac upstairs to my XP computer downstairs and have the internet work properly through the router. Also, does anyone know which is better...Mac OS X tiger or panther or jaguar. Thanks!
