Will not boot

This is my first build and im having problems booting system.
My last computer burn. So I used windows xp disk that came with my pc. It would install it but when it would restart the cumputer it would read boot error. This my be ez for you guys but take it ez on me I'm new at this.

3.2 intel 800 ht

ecs pt800ce-a board

256 mb 400 ram

place your windows XP disk in your drive and try and boot from that.

what kind of pc did you have before? I know with my HP (haha!) the disk that came with it could only be installed on an hp machine. that might be causing errors..you might have to go buy a copy of xp.

I would say that you still might have to go buy a copy of xp, like I said before, usualy those cd's only work on that particular computer, I would think that sony is no different
