The 500w is fine. But I would not trust a no name or unknown brand of PSU.

It is an Xtreme Gear 500w psu, so I should be fine? No need to buy a high wattage one?

there are alot of negative reviews around about the xtreme gear psu's failing and taking other pc components with it. Id advise changing it to the corsair cx500 (or another trusted psu brand.)
