Default will this build work (gameing computer)

power supply- Cooler Master G-Series G700W 80+ Bronze PSU

motherboard- ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

amd processor- AMD FD8350FRHKBOX FX-8350 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition

case- Corsair Obsidian 650D CC650DW-1 Aluminum Mid Tower ATX Enthusiast Computer Case - Black

memory- G-Skill 8GB Ripjaws X DDR3 2133 Dual Kit

video card- Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7970 OC 3GB GDDR5 DVI-I/HDMI/2x Mini-Displayport PCI-E 3.0 Graphics Card GV-R797OC-3GD

storage- Samsung 840 Series 120GB 2.5 inch SATA Solid State Drive

drive- Asus DRW-24B5ST 24x Internal SATA DVD Drive

i dont care about overkilling as i will be constantly overclocking and updateing in the future

What do you plan for cooling since you will be overclocking? Remember these chips run hot.

Definitely get a quality cooler for the CPU. A lot of people like the Hyper 212. The FX does throw off a lot of heat, especially when overclocking. I have the H80i and it works fantastically.
FX-8350 @ 4.7 cooled by H80, 32GB Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 2133, Asus Sabertooth 990FX, 2x Radeon HD 7850 2GB in X-fire, 500GB Samsung 850 Evo, 4TB Seagate, 3TB WD Black, 2x 1TB WD RED in RAID 0
