Exclamation (Wierd) Please Help me Porbs w/ memory

Hey Guys i just made my 1st pc ever, and having a prob w/ my memory, on the setup screen i saw i had 4096GB of ram, and in Mycomputer/System Info it only shows i have 3Gb, it seems like its not using all 4, how do i make it use all 4?

it shows up smaller wen u have 4GB in, i dont no y, my motherboard user guide says, due to chipset resource allocation, the system may dectect less then 8GB or 4GB when you have installed four 2GB or 4 1GBDDR2 memory modules.

hey moore, i just read that in my asus book, so it means that i do have 4gb and its working right? (i got 4gb so tht my pc gos fast :P)

holy monkey! 4GB!! i got 2GB and ive never used over 1GB!! holy molly! 4GB is cainage for a server even lol

yeh get CPUZ and see wot it says on there, soo yeh it shouold be fine, new montherboards (like mine) support up2 8GB DDR2 800MHz, which is well cool

Windows XP cant recognize over 3 somthing gigs. That's why it isnt showing up in windows. Im not sure if you can make windows recognize all 4gb's of it.
