Default wierd

sometimes when i turn offf my comp, after a few min later, the comp turn back on by itself, anyone know why this happens?

Maybe it's your power management. Do you have Wake on LAN enabled in BIOS? DOuble check that.

that used to happen to me on my emachines, eventually i just turned off my surge protector altogether so that it didn't recieve any power at all. i never REALLY solved the problem though

It happened to me once, but it was the power button that was stuck . Sorry I can't help.
