I believe that the 8600m GT should be the faster of the two as it has twice the available stream processors plus higher core and memory timings.

Doesn't matter, if you're just playing Warcraft3, any of those cards would do fine. It isn't a very graphic intensive game.

Well, we are talking about a laptop here. They aren't known for being the best at game play.

You can always allocate more memory to the graphics subsystem if needed.
