Well, all this time I was blaming my motherboard of having a bad agp slot, I've tried 3 cards and none of them worked. the beeper would beep on the motherboard so I assumed it was messed up. Well come to find out I thought I was pushing the cards into the slot far enough but I wasnt. DOOHHH!! I feel like a tard. damn I had to really push that card in until it poped in for the 2nd time. It must be because the new connector is stiff.
just letting everyone know I suck.:D

haha. dont feel too bad. we've all had our dumb moments. live and learn i guess

Happens with memory to. Good tip for newbies!
Make sure its all the way in!.
Support the mother board with your fingers while inserting cards and memory. Ive seen boards snap from to much downward preasure. Especially if not all the mounting supports are in place. If you are building a new machine insert the cards and memory out of the case first to free up the slots. Leave the memory in, but remove the cards and reinsert after the board is mounted.
