Default Where is my fan?

I have an HP15-f233wm laptop that is freezing up. It belongs to a friend. Speccy only shows HDD temp. I thought maybe the fan and vents were clogged. I found no fan in it. I have never seen a laptop without a fan. Is this normal? The service manual if for the HP15 series and shows a fan. I am totally confused on this one.

Default Re: Where is my fan?

Can you hear a fan running up when you start the computer? The ventilation holes are on the left hand side of that computer but those holes tend to be the air out holes. I would have expected to see some intake holes through which you should be able to see the fan blades but I cannot see any holes on the picture that I am looking at of that machine. Can you post pictures with the covers removed of the areas around the CPU?
