Those are not TRUE BAREBONES.. They are already partly assembled, barebone are kits that come with things, the laptops you are talking about have parts already installed.

Of course laptops have parts installed ;P There's only so much you can't install on one. It's just like getting a barebones system with it already in the case...with a monitor keyboard and mouse attached :P You still have to install the HD, RAM, and Processor...or I had to with mine. And you can upgrade the LCD if you find one for it...
