When not using the computer over night...

IMO, if u leave the computer off, the hd, processor, display, they will all cool when u turn it off and when u turn them back on, they will have to suddenly heat back up again.

Then again, leaving the computer on will eventually ruin the hd's spinning components, overheat the processor, and burn images into the display.

Leaving the computer on saves u the trouble of startup, if it is a bit slow.

Leaving the computer off saves u electricity.

Its a hard decision to leave your computer on or off all day, but i leave mine on. if anything fails, its all replaceable, i dont know about the hd but im sure there is a way.
