will the C2D and the C2Q going to go down in price?
i am thinking of getting a new CPU and board, and the Nehalem, and the board that supports the Nehalem is way overpriced for my budget.
If those are going to go down in price, then i will just wait, but if they wont till like say... next year around February, then i would just get them next month.
I know nobody knows for sure.... (unless somebody actually does)
then please estimate/assume if it will or not.
Thanks in Advance

Search for Nehalem on several sites like Wikipedia and Google and I have no idea what they are talking about, please explain in your own words?

The Nehalem Bloomfield platform (LGA 1366) comes out sometime in Q4 2008. All we know so far is that the 2.66GHz model will cost $260 in quantities of 1000.
The boards are likely to be expensive though and there is the extra cost of DDR3.

You will see some big drops in the Core 2 Extreme processors I would imagine as well as some others such as the Q9650 and the Q9550.

i see, i guess i will wait till the Nehalem comes out, and see if i can but a C2Q.
Thanks
