Question when hdd messes up, comp dumps physical memory?

ok, as some of u kno my hdd is messing up latley, das kool cuz ima rma it since it is still under warranty, i was just wondering tho, when it freezes, the comp flashes to blu screen and at the bottom it says "beginning dump of physical memory" wtf does that mean, and does that mean my hdd prolem is linked to something else?

I think it means paging file
