whats wrong with my internet!!

alright well about 5 minutes ago i opened IE and it took about 3 minutes for my homepage to pop up. and now my aim is lagging on startup and when i send a message it takes about a minute for me to see what i wrote to them.

i have cable internet and i don't know why this is doing this because about an hour ago i was on BF2 with a ping average of 38?!? any ideas?

Maybe your ISP is having problems. If it continues, give them a call.

Short of that, maybe a virus or trojan?

Maybe try resetting your router, and rebooting the computer if that doesnt help.

alright well i ran a virus scan and nothing came up i also reset my router and nothing happened so i just restored my computer and it works fine right now

but now that i think of it, friday (the day the computer is restore to) when i turned my computer on i got a message saying that my internet was not connected or something of that sort. so i repaired the connection and it said that it didn't find any problems.

do you think that may have been a cause of my dilemma today?

ya, most likely you got an error saying, that the connection is limited or not connected, usually a simple repair will fix it.
