i had the same problem.... you need the old file of something-or-other because the new one isnt fixed. go to the winamp forums and search for what it says about the problem. mine is fixed, and i listen to music almost every day.

I think Winamps a great program. So many plugins available for it (Even if on the latest version, they are more unstable), but I prefer Media Player for music personally.

Weird problem though. Maybe someone should report it? And/Or download an earlier version?
Maybe www.download.com will allow you to download earlier sources.

Winamp is good for net radio stations... otherwise, windows media player has a better library function
