is it really worth that? will it last as far as working and what kind of games would you expect it to play?

I don't think it would play too many things. Maybe games like WarCraft III, Runescape, Counter-Strike 1.6. That looks to me like a great web-browsing/chatting laptop. Maybe type up school papers. As far as lasting, it really depends on how much it's been used.

It all depends on how much RAM you can dedicate to the graphics. If I'm not mistaken you can share up to 32 or 64 with that model. So if you can get that then it would run fine.
