Well if its for modelling, I would recommend an i7 920, a P6T, and three 2GB DDR3 1600 DIMMs with the best timings possible (look for CAS8)

If you meant which memory, then I will get back to you on a specific model.

Here is a well priced triple channel kit. http://www.provantage.com/ocz-techno...k~7OCZT0AR.htm

Why a 3GB triple channel set? He has an AMD setup that supports dual channel operation.

He could get something like these: G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

I'd recommend Atomic Rooster's set. If you really want to OC, use this

DDR3 2400. Price is doubled...but I'm impressed. 205 for crazy RAM ain't that bad. I remember when 2133 was around 600ish bucks.

I really like both of them sets actually, nice advice. I think 2 sets of Atomic Roosters suggestion might take the cake. Still open to anymore advice before I decide tho.

Just wondering too, why is the 2133 that I had before more expensive then the 2400 that Ihuser suggested?
