Will you need a mouse, keyboard or monitor? If not, what resolution are you currently running at? Can you salvage any parts from your old computer to save you money?

I could go lower but do I really need to since your budget is $800-$1000?

what about the 4890 and 4770? lol and GTS

The 4890 is in there. It's matched with the 275. The 4770 would technically be lower than a 9800GT. So it won't be used in his list.

Where do you see it's 20% better? It's actually on lever with the 9800GT. It barely edges out in most tests.

There is one for example.

wow i thought i read that from somewhere.

Why would they make a card more expensive than the 4830 that performs the same and is 128-bit?

It's a new chip with a 40nm process.
