whats the latest news
for the new direct x 10 cards?
and quad core ?
also i herd that pci express 2 is coming out? whats that all about?
and GDR3 ram?

Quad-core is coming out Nov. 2 (paper launch), and Nov. 14 (hard launch).

I believe the Geforce 8 Series is DirectX 10 compatible, not sure though.
ATI's next R600 generation will support DirectX 10.

GDDR3 is incorporated into the X1950 cards.
