Default whats going happen with longhorn?

what's the deal with longhorn? when's it coming out? i here around 2006 but then they said something about delaying or soemthing. how different is it going to be? more security? better IE? more feautures and user-friendly thihgs? or, are many things still unknown? the reason is becuase im starting to see more and more screen shots and it looks pretty cool.

Firstly, it will have an Extended Memory 64bit coding in it, so it will be a 64bit OS, as well as a 32bit version. Yes, enhanced security, and also, the DOS and pseudo DOS will be gone. From the beat version looks, it sucks, but they probably will improve it before its release. Then again, it is Microsoft we are talking about......
