Bullzi, when you play some games please post up some benchmarks, I really would like to know

alrighty, ive been playin COD4 for the past hour or so, im not sure of exact FPS im working on getting a program so i can get an exact count, it runs BF2 maxed @ 1280x960 with very playable fps, not sure of exact number, but its above 30 i know that... plays company of heroes almost maxed with 1280x960 above 30 fps avg. once i get exact fps's ill post 'em up for ya, but its a great card, a tid bit loud however... and you cant adjust the fan setting which sucks, so im going to be using standby a lot more often now on this pc, overall i'd say get it! ill get exact fps's up pretty soon..

EDIT: UPDATES

Test System
Dell E510 (UPGRADES)
Processor : Intel Pentium 4 630
Frequency : 3000 MHz
L1 Cache : 16 KB
L2 Cache : 2048 KB
Chipset : Intel i945G/GZ
Physical Memory : DDR2-SDRAM PC2-5300 (333 MHz)
Video Card : GeForce 8600 GT
DirectX Version : 9.0c
Hard Disk : ST3160828AS (160 GB)

CSS: Maxed with AA: 4x AF: 4x 1280x960
132.03 AVG. FPS In Video Stress Test w/ stock clocks 620/1457(shader)/1600
134.76 AVG. FPS In Video Stress Test w/ OC clocks @ 704/1654(shader)/1818

I think my processor is bottlenecking, in fact im sure of it... pcwizard showed that my processor has the worst performance of any component in my pc... but hey, im fine with stock clocks running COD4 so well, you will not be disappointed!

Alright, BLUE GRAPH is AMD x2 3800 w/ dual 6600's in SLI, ORANGE GRAPH is my pc you can clearly see the processor is laking majorly on my system so you should get a little better performance with yours

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115031 (this should hold me for 6mouths till C2Q)

GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150230 (I might buy another for SLI if needed... correction I WILL buy another cause I'm greedy )

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119047 (I'm tired of clear side panels)

So whatcha guys think? I just want some opinions before I purchase.

(Merry Christmas too myself)

thanks yea i think im gonna get an sli board, get a regular 8600gt not the XXX version for my new build with zalman cooling stock from XFX, then ill add another one later... hopefully the zalman cooling will allow me to oc it to the clocks my XXX has, and the X2 4000 will be able to push it more than a P4 can

good luck with the build though man, cant wait to see some benches...
