Alright well i finally got this computer working fine, ( in sig ). I was looking at the overclocking capabilities of my athlon 64 3000+, because i bought it at a very good price, so i was looking to get some performance out of it. Normally it runs at a 1.8Ghz clock speed, which i overclocked to 2.4 Ghz. Now my asus probe is looking at a core temp of about 41C IDLE, and about 52C gaming while playing Battlefield 2 lol.

The cooling i have is not much actually, stock fan, i only have one 120mm exhaust fan set on low, because i have the antec sonata II case, so i wanna keep things quiet. The tempatures im getting right now, are they dangerous? I know anything over 60C is bad for these cpu's, but i just want to get some feedback from all you guys.

Also, i was thinking to get rid of my pos chipset fan that's running at 10k rpm's, for a Zalman heatsink, and get a 120mm intake fan as well. What are your suggestions, observations?
