Default What would cause this?

I don't think my card is overheating because its not overclocked, and it the only card in my computer so theres nothing blocking the fan.

Exactly what's been happening when I play halo. But oddly enough it doesn't happen when I play BF2.

I'll upload my screen capture soon.

I have a 7800GT and when I turn it on in AOE3, it tends to have that effect and I also notice slower performance. Now I have everything set to "Application Controlled" and plays just fine now.
