Default What would be better?

So my dad is giving me his old computer to toy around with (His hard drive got screwed up, but everything else is fine) and it was a top of the line computer in 1999/2000. Now my question is, should I stick with my integrated sound ( ) or put in his 199/2000 top of the line creative sound card?

Well it's up to you. I've always used integrated sound and It works for my headphones so I'm happy. I don't see why people spend 50+ on sound cards

I'm just wondering what would be better for a lot music listening and occasional games.

I doubt you'd notice much difference. Stick the sound card in and see if you do.

I think that people who buy 7.1 surround sound speakers need a decent sound card, but my integrated one works fine for my wireless headphones, logitech headset and monitor speakers
